Mona Herbe and Bastian Bestia, are creators, editors, and curators of ‘The Chita’s Clitoris’, a fanpage on Facebook, which is nothing but a collection of images and videos dedicated to art, design, architecture, communication and advertising, music, video clips, and everything that interests them. Their fanpage defines them as voracious and critical consumers of information. From its inception until today, ‘The Chita’s Clitoris’ has become a must for creative artists of all branches using the blog as a source of reference and inspiration for their own work. Within global reach, it has more than 35000 loyal fans, a Tumblr and a video channel on Youtube.
MONA HERBE
Claudia Hermosilla a.k.a. Mona Herbe, was born in Barranquilla, in 1976, and graduated as a visual artist from La Javeriana University, specializing in audiovisual. With a masters degree in aesthetics, from the University Carlos III of Madrid, and further studies in film, at the School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, she uses her ken to move into areas ranging from experimental photography, author and fashion, 3D design, graphic and industrial design, to the creation of pieces of electronic art, net art, video art, and installation presented with a conceptual load. Established and living in Lima, she creates La Despensa, a multidisciplinary project that unites art and design in a space that also takes the role of a shop and a gallery. She is the Creative Director on both the Laboratory of ideas and the design studio, as well as the gallery’s curator.

BASTIAN BESTIA
Sebastian Burga a.k.a. Bastian Bestia, was born in Lima, in 1978, and graduated from La Catolica University, in the School of Sculpture. Later, he got a masters from the UDK in Berlin, where he became aware of the new trends within the world of design. Interested in conceptual art, he uses different skills in his work, such as drawing, cartoon, 3D design, graphic design, sculpture, and industrial design. He has worked as a creator at Tribal Phantasia, where he learned about marketing strategies. Also creator of the toy brand ‘Minimals’.
